2045 Initiative is a non-profit organization that wants to find solution to extend human life.
“It was founded by Russian entrepreneur Dmitry Itskov in February 2011 with the participation of Russian specialists in the field of neural interfaces, robotics, artificial organs and systems.” – Wikipedia.
What might be the problem with there solution?
First we need to be sure if we have a soul.
If we have a soul, does the transfer to a machine will also transfer our soul in the machine, or will happen something else with the soul?
Many people probably will want something else, for example for medical solutions that will keep our brain functioning if there a soul, but a brain that is helped by a computer with AI.
Our brain is not well protected when we have hard impacts, let’s say a car accident, so doctors probably will find a way to increase this protection and invent medical solutions that will make brain working even if most of the body is heavily wounded.
Movies like Avatars, from my point of view, are just preparing us from the moment when we will have our own avatars.
Getting out of the house in a world full of robots, androids and other new life forms, could become very dangerous, so avatars will probably be the best solution to protect yourself from bad things.
Doing sport in the house will probably become a must if we will want a longer life and the medicine does not have something that will help the body enough without sport.
