Some of us have no artificial parts inside them.
But if the future will ask for smarter people, will we accept to become cyborgs like in the movies?
To be smarter, faster and have a very long or maybe even immortality?
Is a hard question.
I’m conservator because if the risks.
I don’t want to put a chip in my brain, to be one of the first people that do that and to die because of a brain infraction.
Of course I want to become smarter, who does not want that?
To be able to learn very fast and to make important discoveries for the world, would be almost anybody dream.
Learning things like in Matrix probably is the ultimate dream of humanity, imagine the number of science people that will pop-up on the entire globe, once such technology will appear.
Big companies will probably give there employees all kind of upgrades in exchange of there increased efficiency.
If medicine will be very advanced compared with today medicine and people will feel that the risks are very small and more important, not life threatening, the number of the upgrades will probably increase.
With DNA engineering and bionic parts, we will be able to see a lot more than we see today.
We have today the image that some aliens have big eyes and bigger brain.
Bigger eyes might mean that they see very good and the bigger brain can mean a higher IQ or other qualities that we might not have.
If the doctors will discover that they can increase our brain artificially and give us a bigger skull, will you do such operation?
To get from a normal 100 points IQ to 300 or 400?
You will be saw at first as a freak, but in exchange of that you become very smart and you will have the chance to work with other smart people and make great discoveries for the human kind.
You may have also robotic parts in that big brain of yours, not just more neurons and synapses and better configuration to use them.
Emotions could be removed in some day and will make us just more logical.
Why to cry because your ex ran away and not just find a new one and have no emotional impact, because you have no emotions, without putting your life in danger maybe trying to suicide.
But what will we become without emotions?
Would no emotions mean also no ethics?
Maybe when someone will have costly disease we will decide in his place that must be killed, because costs too much and we don’t care that he is an intelligent life form, because it become costly and maybe also non-productive for the society.
I think that we should affect our emotions with DNA modifications, because we don’t want angry people, that act on impulse and do bad things because of it and we must fix in some way depression and mental diseases that exist today and may appear tomorrow because of the interface computer-man.
