“What was once just a figment of the imagination of some our most famous science fiction writers, artificial intelligence (AI) is taking root in our everyday lives. We’re still a few years away from having robots at our beck and call, but AI has already had a profound impact in more subtle ways.” – Wired.com
Robots become smarter with every day that passes, I can only imagine de frustration that will be felt by people that will refuse to become cyborgs, so they can still be wanted on the labor market.
Is a path that we have very low chances to influence, because companies want higher efficiency and lower costs.
Imagine that you are an average user, that is affected in a way or another by a disease, but you never studied medicine, however you will be able to learn and even to make a discovery, just by talking with a very smart AI that will help you make the correlation needed for that discovery.
An AI that will give you the informations needed for your task, not the whole medicine related informationts.
This sounds great for me. 🙂
